Product Description

 

Vandalay Cherry is A self-fertile sweet cherry with large black delicious fruits that are resistant to cracking under wet conditions. Vandalay Cherry trees are resistant to bacterial canker. Widely adapted selection from Eastern Canada. Midseason ripening.

Sun and shade requirements: Full sun (approximately 8-10 hours of sunlight per day)

Soil preference: Sandy loam and loam with lots of organic matter. Prefers average to moist conditions with well-drained soils. Avoid planting in areas that are flooded for more than two weeks in spring.

 

Tree Replacement Warranty

We proudly offer a full replacement warranty on all trees purchased from Wild Acres Farm. If your tree does not leaf out by July 1st, we will replace it the following spring.

Please note that some trees may be slower to leaf out than others. We recommend keeping your tree well watered and giving it time, even if it appears to be behind other varieties.

Warranty Requirements

To qualify for a replacement, please:

  • Email a photo within 2 days of receiving your tree
    • Include a clear photo of the tree planted, with the surrounding area visible
    • Send all warranty submissions to:
    warranty@wildacresfarm.ca

Please note: You will not receive a reply to your email. We simply require the photos on file to validate the warranty.
