Boreal Beast Haskap – Atlantic Canada

The Boreal Beast Haskap is a hardy, late-blooming haskap variety bred for superior fruit quality and exceptional cold tolerance, making it an excellent choice for northern growers in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. Developed specifically for cold climates, this robust shrub performs reliably where spring frosts can be a concern.

Boreal Beast produces large, firm, flavorful blue berries that hold exceptionally well on the plant, allowing for flexible harvest timing. The fruit’s firmness and quality make it ideal for fresh eating, freezing, and processing, while also reducing losses during harvest.

This variety pairs perfectly with Aurora for optimal cross-pollination, resulting in improved yields and strong fruit set. With its vigorous growth, dependable productivity, and outstanding cold hardiness, Boreal Beast is a top choice for home gardeners and serious berry growers across Atlantic Canada.
