Hannah’s Choice Blueberry Bush – Atlantic Canada

Hannah’s Choice is a very early-ripening Northern Highbush blueberry prized for its excellent flavor and dependable yields. Well suited for growers in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, this variety is ideal for gardeners who want to start harvesting blueberries early in the season.

At maturity, Hannah’s Choice produces an average of 9–11 pounds of fruit per bush, with berries that are medium-large, firm, and full of rich blueberry flavor. The bush has an upright growth habit and reaches approximately 5 feet tall, making it easy to manage in home gardens and backyard berry patches.

One feature that truly sets Hannah’s Choice apart is its spring flowers, which have a delicate pink tinge—a unique ornamental touch not commonly seen in other blueberry varieties. Hannah’s Choice ripens just after Chanticleer and at least a week before Duke, making it an excellent choice for extending the blueberry harvest season when planted alongside other varieties.

Tree Replacement Warranty

We proudly offer a full replacement warranty on all trees purchased from Wild Acres Farm. If your tree does not leaf out by July 1st, we will replace it the following spring.

Please note that some trees may be slower to leaf out than others. We recommend keeping your tree well watered and giving it time, even if it appears to be behind other varieties.

Warranty Requirements

To qualify for a replacement, please:

  • Email a photo within 2 days of receiving your tree
    • Include a clear photo of the tree planted, with the surrounding area visible
    • Send all warranty submissions to:
    warranty@wildacresfarm.ca

Please note: You will not receive a reply to your email. We simply require the photos on file to validate the warranty.
